Knitting: Sabai Sleeveless Top (Confident Beginner)

This five-part class series is taught by Sarah G. and begins on Tuesday, March 31! We will meet from 6-8 p.m. Participants need to consider themselves at least a confident beginner in knitting: able to knit, purl, and make a gauge swatch to get started. Sign up for an absolute beginner class if you need to catch up.

Purchase the pattern  Sabai Top on Ravelry for 5.46 Euro (6.72 U.S.). There are two items included in this purchase: Sabai Top No. 1 has ribbed edges, Sabai Top No. 2 is done completely in stockinette. Our demo in the shop is of Sabai Top No. 1.

D.K Weight Yarn is needed for this top. You are more than welcome to bring yarn from your stash. Lucky Rooster offers a 15% discount for class participants and has many options: wool, superwash wool, DK sock, cotton-linen and cotton-acrylic. The demo is shown in Queensland Elder Granny Smith colorway.

Gauge is set to 20 stitches and 28 rows to make a 4 inch square. Please check your gauge before March 31. Contact the shop or stop in if you need help with swatching. Suggested needles are US 6/4.0mm.
