This six-part class series begins on Thursday, March 6! We will meet from 9:30-11:30 a.m. Participants need to consider themselves at least an intermediate knitter: able to knit, purl, increase, decrease, and make a gauge swatch to get started. Sign up for an absolute beginner class if you need to catch up.
Purchase the pattern on Ravelry for 5.50 Euro (about $7 U.S.). Show your proof of purchase to receive a printed copy in protective sleeves in the shop.
D.K Weight Yarn or light fingering yarn is needed for this top. You are more than welcome to bring yarn from your stash. Lucky Rooster offers a 15% discount for class participants and has many options. Yarn quantities will vary for different sizes and for sleeve length options.
Gauge is set to 25 stitches and 32 rows to make a 4 inch square. Please check your gauge before March 6. Contact the shop or stop in if you need help with swatching. Suggested needles are US 6/4.0mm for the body and a U.S. 4/3.5mm for the ribbing, but so far most of us are finding we need to adjust with different needle sizes.
If you prefer an evening class, please email Kathleen so she knows of your interest.
This is a six-part class series beginning on Friday, March 6 from 9:30-11:30 with class repeating weekly at the same time.
