Knit: Two at a Time Socks

Jennifer C. is going to teach us the secrets to making socks two at a time (TAAT)! Since this will be the FIRST time for many participants to make socks, we are offering two options for this class: Students may choose to use DK weight yarn at 7 stitches per inch, or fingering weight yarn at 7.5 stitches per inch.

In addition to yarn, participants need two circular needles. Jennifer recommends using two different lengths: perhaps one 16 inch and one 24 inch. Many TAAT sock knitters also find they like to use needle point protectors to keep their projects tidy.

Class meets a total of six times on Saturdays beginning August 29 from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m., putting the final class on October 3. The $60 fee includes instruction and a pattern.

Please check your gauge before arriving to class.

DK knitters need about about a US size 3 needle (3.25mm) and fingering weight knitters need about a US 2 (2.75mm).
