Knit Beanie Class (Beginner)

Ali T. is teaching us how to make quick knitted beanies in the round!

This class is a perfect next-step for those who have learned to knit and purl. We will discuss gauge, custom sizing, ribbing, and decreases. Do you need to learn the knit and purl stitches? Sign up for an Abosolute Beginner Class to get ready.

We are meeting on Tuesday, November 10 and Tuesday, November 17 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. The class fee is $36. Sign up in-shop or online.

Materials:

• Double Point Needles (DPNs)
• 16 inch circular recommended (optional; the whole hat can be made on DPNs)
• 100-150 grams of yarn
• tapestry needle, tape measure, and scissors are recommended - or you can borrow from the shop.

Bring whatever weight of yarn you like! The beauty of this class is that we are operating with individual gauges rather than with a prescribed pattern. This means you need to check your gauge before the first class.
