Handmade Wooden Darning Egg

Joel H. makes these darning eggs for the yarn crafters in his family, and now he is sharing them with Lucky Rooster's crowd! These wooden "eggs" hold the fabric of a sock or mitten, or anything else, in a slightly stretched manner to make it easier to darn holes. Darning eggs make a great gift for yarn crafters because they are just the right tool to make darning as quick as possible.

Each darning egg is about 14 cm long and 14 cm around at its widest.
